• This is a special secret Terror exclusive to 8 Pages and replaces the default 8 Pages music.
• 10 seconds after Shadow Freddy spawns in, the world will be covered in a purple overlay and Shadow Freddy will become active. If a player stares at Shadow Freddy for 3 seconds, they will instantly be killed, indicated by a screen effect of tendrils covering the player's vision and static. Shadow Freddy cannot be stunned.
• Shadow Freddy will noclip towards players slowly and possess 4 attacks:
• If Shadow Freddy reaches a player, he will bite them, instantly killing them.
• Shadow Freddy can dive into the ground and eyes will begin appearing along with a distorted static sound, drawing through walls and covering the entire map. During this time, if a player moves, they will be instantly killed. Dying to this attack will also lower the time left to find pages. After around 8 seconds, they will go away and Shadow Freddy will reappear. Looking at where Shadow Freddy was during this will not kill the player.
• Shadow Freddy can release a soul from it’s mouth and it will scream, slowing all players even remotely close to Shadow Freddy down significantly for 15 seconds. Shadow Freddy will continue to chase during this.
• Shadow Freddy can flash a bunch of spooky images along with a static sound which will then teleport all players to random locations on the map while also dropping their HP to 1, slowing them down. This attack is less common; and this attack can also be chained with his other attacks.
• After collecting 3 pages, Shadow Freddy will enrage, gaining a speed boost and also revealing his hands from his body. Shadow Freddy will begin manifesting hands around players, grabbing hold of them and preventing movement in a similar manner to Roblander, while flailing them around widely. After around 5 seconds of holding on, the hands will release a player. The hands themselves are harmless, but will stall players in collecting pages and also allow Shadow Freddy to catch up. Shadow Freddy can only do this twice at a time, but can grab multiple players with one set of hands. Shadow Freddy’s other attacks will also become more common. Additionally, the time to find pages will also deplete twice as fast.
• After 7 pages, Shadow Freddy will become even faster, able to outspeed players. The page timer will also decrease three times as fast.

• Unlike other static damage-based killers, the Have Plush will not protect you against Shadow Freddy’s viewing mechanic.
• Shadow Freddy was intended to replace Alternates, another 8 Pages exclusive killer, due to allegations regarding its creator. However, it was instead added alongside Alternates as the allegations proved to be falsified.
• The song used for Shadow Freddy, Followed V2, was a remake of Followed, which was originally used for Convict Squad.
• The hallucinations for Shadow Freddy were all drawn by Beyond, except for two which are edited images of the FNAF 2 secret freddy screen and someone’s Freddy cosplay. The models for Shadow Freddy were also created by Beyond; all of which were based off motions of Shadow Freddy in Followed.
• The eyes that appear during Shadow Freddy’s stare attack were drawn by Nami.
