• MX has 3 phases.
• After spawning, MX will remain stationary at the thorn in his first phase. All players will be told through text on screen that there is a gift awaiting for them at the Thorn if they go to MX.
• Only one player can receive MX's gift, and a variety of things can happen, indicated by the text color. The player can be given 30-60 enkephalin, a survival point, a rare achievement, nothing, or be instantly killed. There is a chance that MX will instantly shift to phase 3 after taking the gift.
• If a player takes MX's gift, or no players take MX's gift after a minute, MX will wake up and enter phase 2. In phase 2, MX will chase players at a medium pace, outran by most coils. MX additionally can be stunned for a short duration of time.
• After a while, MX will shift into phase 3 indicated by laughing & a short static overlay on the screen. This phase can also be instantly skipped by stunning MX during phase 1.
• During phase 3, MX will gain a large speed boost and also become immune to stuns. Occasionally, MX will jump in the air before landing on the ground, shaking the ground under him and knocking players nearby upwards, “tripping” them. MX will continue to do this until the end of the round.
