• When spawning, Decayed Sponge will build himself up at the thorn and begin chasing players at a moderate pace. Decayed Sponge can be stunned for a moderate amount of time.
• Decayed Sponge functions very similarly to its counterpart, Demented Spongebob, with some small changes in that it will always be at sprinting and will instantly kill the player. 35 seconds after spawning, Decayed Sponge will flicker the lights and eventually transform into its true form while flashing an image of itself onscreen.
• After swapping to its true form, Decayed Sponge will gain a massive speed boost and patrolling towards players. If a player is within a spherical radius around him, he will become even faster. Decayed Sponge will instantly kill players upon contact and also can no longer be stunned after transforming. While chasing a player, he can stop and scream, ‘jumpscaring’ all players within a large radius around him by flashing an image of himself on their screens, which deals very low damage and also inflicts slowness.
• After transforming, around every 10 seconds Decayed Sponge will leave behind a pile of debris; which slowly expands and emits smoke. The debris will slowly grow over the remaining course of the round and continue expanding. Players passing through this debris will be inflicted with poison and also be slowed down.

• Decayed Sponge is the replacement for Corrupted Spongebob. Additionally, the first form of Decayed Sponge heavily resembles Corrupted Spongebob.
• Decayed Sponge’s index artwork was drawn by @vibingleaf.
• Decayed Sponge is inspired by the Spongebob theory that Bikini Bottom set in Bikini Atoll, which explains that Spongebob characters are just mutated fish.
• Decayed Sponge is also inspired by the real-world issue of human intervention destroying aquatic ecosystems.
• In Decayed Sponge’s AU, Decayed Sponge watched everyone it knew die due to industrial machines making the ocean uninhabitable, and was only able to survive in the destroyed Bikini Bottom by eating itself; as it could easily regenerate. It harbors a deep hatred for humanity because of this.
