Cold Night
Cold Night (Rift Monsters)
  • Once a lone Byte part of a larger garden, she was one day taken by one of the rift monsters that had come into the Garden during the night; a Deity. However, she was not killed after being stolen, but kept alongside the Deity.

  • Through the Deity’s invasions and massacres of other gardens, she learned how little she actually mattered in the grand scheme of the FOX operations. It ensured she witnessed everything to keep her mind busy and prevent the worst from happening.

  • Her transformation happened in the ocean far from the gardens, alongside her broken brothers and sisters left forgotten in its depths. Unintentionally and without even knowing, FOX had caused the creation of the first Pilot, not through love, but through hate.

  • With her family looking towards her newfound power for guidance, she proceeded to lead them towards the gardens with one thing on her mind.

  • Cold Night begins with 250 seconds on the timer. It can only happen on the Gardens map.

The round begins with the Pilot of Want. She will patrol towards players at a moderate speed and possesses 4 attacks. She cannot be stunned.

The Pilot of Want will attack anyone within 7m of her with her claw, instantly killing players. She has two variations of this attack and is able to move while using this attack.

The Pilot of Want can extend her melee attack up to almost 15m away, but she will stop while doing this.

The Pilot of Want will cast an AoE that slowly grows in size inflicting Fear, a debuff that prevents item usage for 30 seconds.

The Pilot of Want will slam her hand into the ground, causing orbs to rise from the ground around the map which explode shortly after, instantly killing players and dealing low damage to players around them. She has two variations of this attack.

When the timer reaches 165, the Pilot of Want will let out a scream and summon the rest of the Rift Monsters. The Pilot of Want will also be much faster now and also actively target players.

TYPE-M is one of the rift monsters that will spawn. It will actively patrol at very high speed towards players. When it spots a player, it will raise its claws up and begin approaching at a moderate speed while smashing the ground in front of it, dealing heavy damage and knockback.

If it does this for too long, it will eventually give up and begin chasing normally; attacking players when it reaches them, dealing heavy damage and knockback. TYPE-M can be stunned.

Two TYPE-S will spawn. They will patrol slowly towards players. When a player is near it, TYPE-S will attack, spreading its thorns all around it dealing heavy damage. This attack is capable of instantly killing if a player is too close; and TYPE-S can move while using it. If a player is within around 30m of it, it will spray spores dealing low damage and inflicting paralysis, hitting multiple times. TYPE-S can be stunned.

TYPE-B is one of the rift monsters that will spawn. It will actively chase players at a moderate speed, instantly killing them on contact. If a player is far from it, it will stand up and activate its spotlight similarly to Guidance, inflicting Paralysis on players hit by it while dealing no damage. TYPE-B can be stunned.

Four TYPE-C will spawn, actively chasing players. They move at high speeds towards players. When within melee range, they will rapidly attack, dealing low/medium damage while still chasing the player. If a player is within range, it can stop to charge up its axe and slam the ground, sending a short shockwave dealing heavy damage. TYPE-C can be stunned.

TYPE-C-B is the final monster that spawns. It will actively chase players. They move at a slightly higher speed than TYPE-C towards players. When within melee range, they will rapidly attack, dealing low/medium damage while still chasing the player. Unlike TYPE-C, they do not have the ranged attack. TYPE-C-B can be stunned.

Surviving Cold Night will reward the player with “Torch of Obsession”
