• The Ao Oni is a very enigmatic creature. It seems to eat the bodies of its victims, adding to its own flesh. It's smart, it knows how to hunt. It also has a really weird face.

• Death Tip: "You were killed by Ao Oni. Ao Oni will start chasing once seeing a player, and will not give up for a while."

• When spawning, Ao Oni will rise from the thorn and then begin patrolling. Ao Oni can be stunned.
• Like most terrors, Ao Oni will make its way towards players at a moderate pace. When spotting a player, it will give chase, playing its chase music and gaining speed. When Ao Oni kills a player, another Ao Oni will spawn shortly after. This can only happen once in a round of Ao Oni.

• Ao Oni was remodeled and reanimated in the Joyous update.
• There is a common joke in the community that Ao Oni has "cake", referring to his buttcheeks.
• During the remodel, a vote was held in which the community decided that his “cake” would remain on his new model.
