  • Crimboong will chase players at a high speed. Crimboong will have a random name on the UI if it is viewable, and on the Spectator screen. The name is not synced between players, so everyone will see a different name.

  • When Crimboong is moving, he will use a red variant of the Wave Coil, a contributor item.

  • Crimboong has 5 attacks it can use when someones in range; based off various event & rare items Divine Avenger: Functions the same as BfF's faust, however it deals more damage and is much faster, but does not deal Curse.

    Desire: Crimboong swings it overhead and smashes the ground in front of him with it, instantly killing players hit directly. The sword will shoot 8 lasers as it swings down, which deal medium damage and inflict burn. Because they are vertically shot, players can be hit by multiple beams at once.

    Justitia: Crimboong quickly pulls out Justitia and attacks twice, dealing heavy damage with each swing, enough to kill a player.

    Torch of Obsession: Crimboong pulls out and uses the Torch of Obsession, dealing AOE medium damage and burning players hit by it.

    Bash: Crimboong smacks the player with his hands, similar to one of Lifebringer's Stringmen. It can deal medium to heavy damage.

  • Additionally, Crimboong is armed with the Pale Revolver, which he will fire three times in quick succession if a target is out of range, similar to Toren's Shadow, dealing medium damage with each shot.

  • The first time Crimboong is stunned, he will fall and use his Red Medkit, playing a global sound and buffing Crimboong significantly. Any further stuns against Crimboong will result in him blocking using the Omori Plush.

  • Crimboong was based on the 10 Hour Burst Man from Item Asylum.
  • Crimboong uses rare, contributor, and event items.
  • ‘Desire’ is an unfinished event item that was intended for Beyond’s birthday, but was scrapped due to the event not being finished in time. It is intended to be Beyond’s own sword.
  • Crimboong is implied to be a Stringman of some sort; or at least, related to them in some way.
  • As of 1.13b, Crimboong has 24 names.   • The name “Crimboong” was chosen as its original name because it sounded silly.
  • The name “Unidentifiable” is a reference to Nue Houjuu, a character known for being unidentifiable which used to be Beyond’s avatar.
  • The name “Variant” is a reference to Crimboong being a variant of BFF.
  • The name “Liar” is a reference to the fact Crimboong is not actually a stringman.
  • The name “Kuro Hana” is a reference to Toren’s Shadow’s full name; as Crimboong originates from Toren.
